Before you proceed...
Cancelling your Castaway Cloud subscription is a one-way decision and cannot be undone . Once cancelled, all projects/ files will be deleted permanently from the account. For security and privacy reasons, we do not store these for you and we cannot recover them for you.
When/If you return to Castaway Cloud in the future, you will not have access to anything you have already created.
Steps to cancel your subscription
While we can not cancel your Castaway Cloud subscription for you, this article will take you through the steps to manage your subscription cancellation.
Canceling your Castaway Cloud subscription is something your Organisation Owner can do within the app. Castaway Cloud gives you the power over how your account is managed within the application. This includes purchasing plans, purchasing additional files and cancellation.
- Log into Castaway Cloud (Org Owner)
- Click on the head & shoulders icon at the top right hand corner of the web page
- Select Manage Account
- Click on the three-dot ellipses and choose Cancel Subscription
- You will be presented with a popup which covers options
- If you are clear you would like to cancel, Click on Cancel Anyway
As mentioned above, our Customer Success team do not have permissions to cancel your Castaway Cloud account. If you are experiencing problems canceling your account, please reach out to us at support@castawayforecasting.com
How do I save data from my project files?
If you have created project files within Castaway and want to save your data, here are some ways you can get your data out of Castaway Cloud before you press the cancel button:
- Export your Report Data to Excel
- Publish your Reports to pdf. This can be done through the Print feature in Reports
- Export Forecast Data using the Upload Forecast Data Template
- Save your Storyboards to pdf from the Storyboards page
