Overview
Dashboards are the best means of visually reporting financial and non-financial data in Castaway. This article covers all the ways you can publish and share your Dashboard:
- View your Dashboard on Screen

Viewing on Screen
The live view of your Dashboard is the best way to assess and present your data in real time. Advantages of the on-screen view include:
- Change the Timeline Slider whilst you present to update the live data
- Active actuals month is represented on graphs by the vertical marker (this looks to the actuals month you have set in the top right of your screen)
- Change the comparative from the default to a save Budget or Forecast
- Custom Dashboards can be pulled together in minutes. If you're put on the sport to do this or make adjustments it is feasible, especially if you can Start from a Prebuilt or an existing Dashboard
Print to PDF
- Open your Dashboard.
- Click the printer icon in the top right corner.
Dashboards in Storyboards
Storyboards are customisable, templatised management reports designed for consistent and repeatable reporting to your business or clients. The Dashboard will follow the settings that have been saved in the Dashboard editor. Bringing in a Dashboard takes only seconds to set up:
- Add a new page to your Storyboard by clicking on the blue plus sign between pages on the left hand panel.
- Choose the Board option.
- Click the ellipsis in the corner of the new Board page and click edit to change the page title.
