Overview
Manual entry is one of two ways to bring actuals data into Castaway, alongside Importing via Integrations. The Actuals Data tab gives you direct control over the entered and imported data. You can also adjust or correct values against an element for a specific period.
Generally speaking, we always recommend using an integration source as it is more efficient and maintains a connection to an active data source. Manual entry is best suited to users with a shorter chart of accounts where the volume of data entry is manageable.
Accessing the Actuals Data Workspace
Navigate to Forecast > Actuals Data to begin entering your values.
If your actuals data is showing only one month (your opening balance) in the Balance Sheet Data tab, you will need to roll your active actuals months forward for more months to become available.
Entering Data Manually
