The Problem
If you are trying to create a New Project via Xero Integrations but Castaway is informing you the files you want to choose are already connected, perhaps you already have an existing project with a connection to the file.
PLEASE NOTE: By going through the below steps, you'll be disconnecting and deleting the mapping of your Xero file with the existing Castaway project that it is already connected to.
Steps to Resolve
You'll need to disconnect the connection either from the existing Project (which you can learn how to do HERE), or directly from your Xero account.
- Log in to Xero
- Select the Xero file you are looking to disconnect
- Click on the Xero file name at the top left and select Settings
- Select Connected Apps to review all the apps that are connected to your Xero file
- Look for Castaway's connection and select Disconnect
- Return to Castaway and refresh the app
- You will now be able to connect to the Xero file
