Reports in Castaway can be expanded or collapsed to reveal more or less detailed lines and data. There are several levels to choose from to allow for flexibility and functionality.

Display Settings

When adding details to your Castaway project, you’ll find you have a lot of information but may not necessarily want to show all the lines in your Reports all the time. This is where display settings can assist.

From your Project, first head to Analysis-Reports-Key Reports, and choose your report.

Next, in the top-right of the screen, click the Views drop-down.

Here we’re given a few options for customisation:

Display Level:

  • Collapse all - allows you to expand or collapse certain lines in your report from your Main Elements only
  • Level 1 - shows a basic overview
  • Level 2 - allows you to display your sub-sections
  • Level 3 - allows you to show your sub-sections within sub-section
  • Expand All - shows all rows.

You can also click the Arrows next to your rows to expand and collapse specific Account Groupings

Showing Rows

  • Show Zero Rows will enable most rows in your report, even if there hasn't been any movement against them. This also pulls up Castaway generated lines
  • Show Total presents a running total
  • Show Negatives in Red allow you to see at a glance the negatives in your report
  • Rounding will allow you to choose how general or specific you’d like your numbers to be to the nearest Thousand, Million, 1 or 2 decimal places.
