Issue Scope
User receives the error message when Refresh Data is selected while Integrating with an External Source.
Explanation
There can be a number of reasons this issue will arise:
- Your connection to your External Source has been disconnected
- Your browser session has been left idle for too long which disconnects your External Source
- If you attempt to Refresh Data in a Shared Project, you may not have access to the Source file thus you are unable to retrieve the data from the External Source
Troubleshooting
To troubleshoot this:
- Reconnect to the Source by selecting the corresponding Source icon and accessing the source file again. Mapping would've been retained at your last save point
- Check that you have the appropriate access to the Source file
