There are 2 ways to reduce the number of Projects (files) in your subscription:
1. Deleting Projects
2. Downgrading your Plan
Deleting Projects
You can reduce the number of Projects in your Organisation via the Castaway app. The guidance to do this is HERE.
Downgrading your Plan
Your Org Owner (Account Manager) can Change your Plan by Upgrading it or Downgrading it. In the case where you are downgrading a Plan, here are the steps:
1. Ensure that the number of Projects are reduced to the equivalent of, or lesser than, the lower Plan. For example, if you are downgrading from a Plan10 to a Plan3, you must delete enough Projects to be left with only 3 or less Projects/ files before your downgrade will be successful
2. Log into Castaway and right-click on the head and shoulders icon at the top right of the screen
3. select Manage Account from the drop-down on your icon
4. Select the Subscription tab
5. Click on Change Plan
6. Once you click on Change Plan, select your preferred option (reduced plan to Starter (Plan3) in this case).
7. Click on the button that says Yes, switch
8. If there are no issues, the downgrade will be successful.
What if my downgrade is not successful?
If you have not reduced your Projects enough, you will encounter the following popup indicating an error
Please go back to Step 1 and reduce your Projects to an appropriate level, then start again.
