Projections are what starts to shape the direction of your project in Castaway. There are a few key considerations when understanding projected numbers in Castaway and two main workflows for inputting and updating these. In Castaway projected data is the data entered against each of your elements.

- Entering data directly in the elements via “element settings” when in the “forecast” workspace
- Using the “Upload forecast data template” generated from “upload” when in the “forecast” workspace
