Copying a Project in Castaway creates an exact duplicate of an existing file. This is useful when you want to use an existing chart of accounts and element setup as the starting point for a new Project.
Consolidations
Consolidation Projects cannot be copied. To duplicate a Consolidation Project, a new consolidation must be created manually.
File Usage
Copying a Project increases your active file usage by one. If you do not have a spare Project available within your current Plan, Castaway will automatically add a file to your account. Copied Projects count toward your total Project number.

How to Copy a Project
- From the Castaway Cloud main screen, locate the Project you wish to copy.
- Click the ellipsis menu next to the Project.
- Select Copy from the menu.
The copied Project will appear in your Project list with the same name as the original followed by '[copy]'. Open the copied Project to edit the name and any other Project details as required.
