After you have Connected your Data Source and Mapped your Source Data, you are ready to import your data into the system. Your actuals data is not in your model until it is pushed into the system from the Mapping Screen, this article covers this process.
Some things to consider before importing:
- The number of months of data you can import is limited by your current Active Actuals Month (AAM), to adjust this see: Changing the Active Actuals Month (AAM)
- If you have imported before and changed your mapping, you may end up with duplicate data with the next import, consider Clearings your Actuals Data before re-importing

We recommend reviewing your actuals data in the Actuals Data tab (Forecast > Actuals Data). Here, you will need to manually input your Opening Retained Earnings balance if this is your first import.
Reviewing Imported Data
Forecast > Actuals Data is where your actuals data sits once it is part of your model. Here it can be reviewed before you proceed, an Out of Balance row will alert you in red. For your first import, inputting your Opening Retained Earnings balance can be done at the bottom of the Balance Sheet tab.
For common causes of an out of balances refer to: Troubleshoot: Out of Balance (OOB) Projects
In some scenarios you may need to clear and reimport your actuals data: Clearing Actuals Data
You can also manually input and edit your Actuals Data in this space, however, we do not recommend this as a workflow unless only minor adjustments need to be made.
